1) Will the Accentra CN87-208 escutcheon work on my 8800 Series mortise lock?
The CN87-208 is the inside escutcheon trim for Accentra 8800 Series mortise locks, and it fits the 8801, 8805, 8807, 8808, 8828, 8833, 8880, 8884, 8890, 8881, 8885 and 8895 functions. If your existing lock body is one of those functions, this is the matching interior trim. It is not a lock body, so it will not work on its own and it will not fit a cylindrical lock chassis.
2) What actually comes in the Accentra CN87-208 escutcheon assembly?
You get the inside escutcheon plate, the cylinder, the grip, and the connecting screws. That means the interior side of the trim is complete out of the box for an 8800 Series mortise lock. The lock body itself and the outside trim are separate orders.
3) Can I replace just the damaged inside trim on my 8800 mortise lock instead of the whole lock?
That is exactly what the CN87-208 is for. It is a service part, so a chewed-up escutcheon, a worn grip, or a failed cylinder on the interior side gets replaced without pulling the mortise lock body out of the door.
