The ACL10W is a general purpose white acrylic latex, stocked as an electrical supply item, so it suits interior gap filling around boxes, plates, raceway and trim where you want a paintable bead you can tool with a wet finger. It is not a firestop product and it is not a structural or high-movement sealant, so for a rated wall penetration use a listed firestop sealant instead, and for exterior joints that move, use a urethane or silicone.
2) Can I use the Metallics ACL10W caulk outdoors?
Treat it as an interior product. Acrylic latex caulk is water based and best suited to interior joints that see little movement, such as trim, drywall gaps and around device plates. For exterior weather joints or anything with real thermal movement, go to a urethane or silicone sealant.
3) Does the Metallics ACL10W come in colors other than white?
