The 6010ADW adjustable bar hanger spans 14-1/2 inches to 26-1/2 inches, so it covers 16-inch and 24-inch on-center framing off the same part. That range is why one bar hanger works in both residential 16 OC layouts and commercial 24 OC bays without stocking two lengths.

Rated to 50 lb maximum load. That covers most recessed cans, wafer lights and standard luminaires, but a heavy pendant, a chandelier or a paddle fan is out of scope for it, and a fan in particular needs a listed fan-rated brace rather than a fixture bar hanger.

The stud ships with the hanger, so the box has what you need to hang the box on the bar. Steel construction throughout. What isn't in the package is the outlet or fixture box itself, and any screws or nails for fastening the bar ends to the framing.
