Metallics LCS346 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Metallics LCS346 a hex head anchor or does it take a nut and washer?
It is a hex head anchor, so it drives and tightens with a socket or wrench straight off the head. No separate nut is needed to set it.
2) Will a zinc plated anchor like the Metallics LCS346 hold up outdoors or in a damp area?
Zinc plated steel is the finish here, which suits dry interior concrete work and covered locations. For standing water, pool decks, coastal exposure, or chemically aggressive areas, go to a stainless or hot dip galvanized anchor instead, because zinc plating is a light sacrificial coating rather than a corrosion barrier.
3) What is the exact part number to order for the Metallics 3/4 x 6 hex anchor?
Order Metallics LCS346. That is the single model on the item, a 3/4 inch by 6 inch hex head zinc plated anchor, supplied in a box of 10.
