B-LINE 4460 GRTGV NK – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size is the B-Line 4460 GRTGV NK wiring trough?
It's a 4 x 4 inch trough, 60 inches long. That cross section is what determines your wire fill and how it lines up with adjacent gutter sections or enclosure knockouts, so measure your run in 60 inch increments when laying out a wall.
2) Does the 4460 GRTGV NK trough come with knockouts, or is it blank?
NK means no knockouts. The body is supplied blank so you punch your own openings exactly where your conduit lands. If you want factory knockouts on a spacing you don't have to lay out, this is the wrong version for you.
3) How does the cover attach on this Eaton B-Line wiring trough?
The cover is held by a flange and plated screws. It lifts off for pulling wire and screws back down, so you can open a run for future adds without cutting anything. Plated hardware resists corrosion in damp indoor mechanical spaces.
4) How is this 60 inch wiring trough mounted to the wall?
Mounting is through embossed thru holes in the back of the trough, so you fasten straight to the wall, strut or backboard with your own hardware. Fasteners and struts are not part of the trough, plan those into the job.
5) Is this wiring trough certified for use on Canadian jobs?
It carries CSA C22.2 certification, which is what an inspector on a Canadian project looks for. That is the only certification stated for this trough.
