B-LINE B387GRN – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size is the B-Line B387GRN Z-bus duct connection bracket?
It measures 4.75 inches in length/depth, 3.5 inches in height, and 1.62 inches in width, and weighs .89 lb. Use those figures to check clearance between your duct run and the structural point you are anchoring to before ordering.
2) What is the B-Line B387GRN used for?
The B387GRN is a two hole Z-bus duct connection bracket, part of B-Line's electrical line. It's a steel connecting piece used where a bus duct run has to be tied back or joined, with two mounting holes for the fastening points.
3) Is the B-Line B387GRN galvanized or painted, and can I use it in a damp area?
The B387GRN is steel with a Dura-Green finish, which is B-Line's green protective coating rather than bare or plain painted steel. It holds up better than untreated steel in humid interior electrical rooms and utility spaces. For fully exposed exterior or corrosive duty, specify a stainless or hot-dip galvanized equivalent instead.
4) What is the manufacturer part number to order the B-Line green two hole bus duct connector?
Order it as B-Line part number B387GRN. The GRN suffix denotes the Dura-Green finish, so the number itself carries the finish choice, there is no separate finish option to specify.
5) Does the B-Line B387GRN come with bolts or hardware?
The B387GRN is supplied as the steel connection bracket itself. It has two holes for fastening, and the bolts, nuts, and any channel nuts or anchors for your substrate are ordered separately to suit the duct and the structure you are attaching to.
