B-LINE B521GRN – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Dura Green finish on the B521GRN suitable for damp or corrosive areas?
Dura Green is B-Line's green epoxy-type coating over steel, used where plain electro-zinc would be marginal, such as damp mechanical rooms, water treatment plants, and wash-down areas. The part itself is steel with that green finish. For continuously wet or chemically aggressive exposure, specify stainless instead.
2) Do bolts, nuts or channel nuts come with the B521GRN angle?
No. The B521GRN is the steel angle only. You order the channel nuts, bolts and washers separately, and match their finish to the Dura Green coating so you don't create a galvanic mismatch in a damp location.
3) What part number do I give my distributor for the green two hole bus duct angle?
B-Line B521GRN. The GRN suffix is the Dura Green finish; the same angle geometry is sold in other B-Line finishes under the B521 base number, so include the suffix or you may get plain zinc.
