B-Line Eaton auxiliary support kit, Steel, Framing clips and 1/2"-13 hardware, Support framing size: 2" x 0.56", Yellow zinc, Wall angle framing clip

The SB2212CYZ kit ships as two framing clips plus 1/2"-13 hardware. You get the clips and the bolt hardware to fasten them; the strut channel itself, the wall anchors, and the supported raceway or cable tray are separate.

1/2"-13 coarse thread. If you are matching existing hardware on a run, or ordering channel nuts and washers to go with it, spec them 1/2"-13 so everything threads together.

The clips are steel with a yellow zinc chromate finish. That is a light corrosion coating suited to dry indoor mechanical rooms, plenums and interior wall work. For wet, exterior or corrosive environments, step up to hot dip galvanized or stainless framing clips instead.

A wall angle clip ties a length of support framing to a wall or to another member at an angle, giving you an auxiliary support point between the main trapeze or wall bracket hangers. Typical use is picking up a sagging span, adding a support where a hanger cannot land, or bracing the end of a run back to the structure. The SB2212CYZ handles that with two clips and 1/2"-13 bolts.

Certifications are marked Not Applicable for this kit. It is a plain steel framing accessory, so if your submittal package needs a listed support assembly, specify that at the system level rather than expecting a listing mark on the clip.

One SB2212CYZ kit gives you two clips and the 1/2"-13 hardware, which covers a single connection point at each end of a short member. Count your connections, not your supports: a wall angle picked up at both ends needs two clips, so one kit per angle is the usual buy. Order by the kit and stage spares, since the clips are small and easy to lose on a ceiling.
