Wall mount. The BCH21X is built to fasten flat against a wall or other flat surface, so you supply the fastener appropriate to the substrate (screws into studs, anchors into masonry or drywall). If you are hanging from structure instead (bar joist, threaded rod, beam flange), you need a different attachment style of J-hook, not this one.

It is a low friction coating on the steel hook. When you are pulling Cat6 or fiber through a long series of hooks, the coated saddle lets the jacket slide instead of grabbing, which reduces drag on the pull and the risk of scuffing the jacket. The hook body is steel underneath, so it keeps the strength; the coating is about the pull and the cable, not the load rating.

One. It is a single J-hook configuration, so it supports one bundle per hook. If you have to keep circuits separated, for example copper data away from fiber or away from low voltage control, order a hook per bundle or step up to a multi-hook X-hook assembly.

The BCH21X is a datacomm and low voltage support fastener. It is intended for communications and low voltage cable, not as a substitute for the raceway or supports required for power branch circuits. For structured cabling, security, AV, and similar runs it is the right part; for line voltage, follow the support method your electrical code and the AHJ require.
