B-Line Eaton series enclosure climate control, 4X, ANSI 61 gray painted, Stainless steel, Slimkool series sp28, Mounting adapters, Climate control pr

The KNA4C4SP28LV Slimkool SP28 unit carries a NEMA 4X degree of protection, so it suits washdown areas and corrosive or wet environments where the enclosure itself is 4X rated. The housing is stainless steel, which is what gets it there. Keep in mind the enclosure it mounts on has to hold the same rating for the assembly to stay 4X.

At 85 pounds, this is not a unit you hang on a thin door sheet and walk away from. On a door mount the weight sits out on the hinges, so check the door gauge and hinge rating, and consider reinforcing the mounting area. Side or wall mounting puts the load into the enclosure frame instead and is the easier option on lighter cabinets.

Mounting adapters are called out as a feature of this Slimkool SP28 unit, so the adapter hardware for fitting it to the enclosure ships as part of the package. You still supply the cutout in the enclosure and the field wiring.

A filter fan or blower kit only moves ambient air, so it cannot bring panel temperature below the surrounding room, and in a washdown area the filter path is a weak point. A closed-loop 4X air conditioner like this stainless steel Slimkool SP28 cools below ambient and keeps the enclosure sealed, which is the reason to pay for it. If your panel sits in a clean, cool room and only needs a modest temperature drop, a fan kit is the cheaper answer.

Order it as Eaton B-Line KNA4C4SP28LV. That number covers the NEMA 4X stainless steel Slimkool SP28 unit in ANSI 61 gray with mounting adapters, and it is the only configuration under that part number, so there are no suffixes to add.

Yes. The KNA4C4SP28LV is finished in ANSI 61 gray paint, the standard gray used across Eaton B-Line and most industrial control enclosures, so it blends with existing panel lineups rather than standing out.
