B-LINE FTB12CTWH – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the B-Line FTB12CTWH center trapeze hanger actually do in a Flextray run?
It is the center support bracket for Eaton B-Line Flextray wire basket tray, holding the tray up at the middle of a trapeze so the basket does not sag between the two threaded rods. Part number FTB12CTWH, steel, white powder coat finish.
2) Do I need anything besides the FTB12CTWH to hang the tray?
The bracket itself is the center trapeze member only. You still supply the threaded rod, rod anchors into the structure, and the nuts and washers to land the bracket, plus any tray-to-bracket fasteners your installation calls for. Order the rod and anchors separately.
3) Why choose a white powder coat hanger instead of plain or galvanized steel?
White powder coat matches white Flextray basket runs in exposed ceilings, offices, data rooms, classrooms and healthcare corridors where the tray is visible and painted-out hardware is specified. The bracket is steel underneath the coating.
