It's the 72 inch RCM (removable cable manager) door that covers the front of a vertical cable manager on an open frame rack, made of 14 gauge steel with a silver powder coat finish. Mounting hardware is in the box. The cable manager itself is a separate purchase, as is the rack.

A 7 foot (84 inch) rack stands taller than this 72 inch door. These doors are matched to the height of the vertical manager section, not the rack, so confirm your manager is the 72 inch version. On a 7 foot rack with 84 inch managers you need the 84 inch door instead.

Functionally the manager holds cable without a door. The door is for appearance and for keeping hands off the bundles, which is why it gets specified in lobbies, MDF rooms with visitors, and school or municipal spaces. In a locked, staff-only telecom room many installers skip it. Being 14 gauge steel with a powder coat finish, it also takes knocks in a high-traffic room better than an open finger stack.
