Width is 13 inches and depth is 1.321 inches. That 13 inch width is what you need to budget between racks in a row, or between the rack and the wall if the manager sits on the end. The shallow 1.321 inch depth figure means it mounts tight to the rack upright rather than projecting far into the aisle.

The cover is included, and it comes with handles, hinges, tape and mounting hardware. That is the point of the product: it hides the vertical cable runs behind a finished panel instead of leaving patch bundles exposed on the rack rails. You are not ordering a separate door or accessory kit to close it up.

It is aluminum with a brushed aluminum finish. For a low voltage or telecom contractor that means a lighter assembly to lift and handle during a rack build, and a bare metallic look rather than the black powder coat common on data center gear. If your existing racks and managers are black, this brushed aluminum will not match visually.

A vertical manager like the SB571 runs the full height of the rack along the side and carries the bundles up and down between patch panels and switches. Horizontal managers sit in rack units between equipment and dress cable side to side across one or two RU. On a patch field you normally want both: horizontal at each panel to break out the jumpers, vertical at the side to carry the trunk up the frame and conceal it behind the cover.

It is built for Eaton B-Line series open frame racks, mounting to the side of the rack frame. Enclosed network cabinets generally use their own internal finger ducts and side channels sized to that cabinet, so if you are outfitting a closed cabinet rather than a two-post or four-post open rack, this is not the right part.

13 pounds. At 95.25 inches tall it is awkward more than heavy, so a single tech can carry it but two sets of hands make lining up the mounting holes on a 7-foot rack a lot easier.
