A horizontal rack mount cable manager kit with cover is part of the kit, so you get horizontal dressing and a snap-on cover out of the box. Vertical managers, patch panels, shelves and rack screws are separate items to add for a finished install.

Depth is 18 inches. That works for switches, patch panels, routers and shallow appliances, but full-depth rack servers typically run 26 to 30 inches and will overhang badly on a frame this shallow. For server chassis, use a four-post rack or a deep cabinet instead.

Yes, the SB708197918FB carries a UL Listed marking, which is normally what an electrical inspector or facilities standard asks for on rack and enclosure hardware in schools, hospitals and government buildings.

An open frame rack gives you access on all four sides and free air movement, which suits an IDF or telecom closet that is already locked. It offers no dust protection and no physical security for the equipment itself, so if the rack sits in a shared room, a corridor or a shop floor, a lockable enclosed cabinet is the right choice instead. This one is an open frame with door hinges that provide access to the back of the equipment.

Steel construction with a flat black powder coat. The flat, non-gloss black is the common finish across Eaton B-Line rack hardware, so added managers and panels in black powder coat will read as a matched line rather than a patch job.
