B-LINE SB860812S108SL – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Can I mount a vertical PDU in this B-Line cable manager section?
Yes. The SB860812S108SL is set up for direct PDU mounting, so a vertical rack PDU can be fastened inside the 12 inch wide channel rather than eating a rack unit up front. It also has a pass through opening for cable routing between the manager and the rack.
2) Is the B-Line SB860812S108SL cable manager UL listed?
Yes, the RCM rack mounted vertical cable manager carries a UL certification, which is what most institutional and data center specs call for on rack and cable management hardware.
3) What is included with the SB860812S108SL and do I need extra hardware to install it?
The order includes the vertical cable section itself plus push in fasteners for the finger assembly. Fingers are high density plastic. You will still need the rack it bolts to and your own PDU or cable accessories, but the manager arrives with its own mounting fasteners.
4) Will the silver finish on this B-Line vertical manager match my existing racks?
The body is aluminum with a silver powder coat, with black plastic components for the fingers. It matches silver or clear anodized style open frame racks; if your room is standardized on black racks, the color will not match.
5) What is the exact part number for this Eaton B-Line vertical cable manager?
The manufacturer part number is SB860812S108SL, an Eaton B-Line RCM series rack mounted vertical cable manager in silver.
