The SB862HRD12078SL door kit is made for Eaton B-Line SB860, SB862 and SB864 vertical cable managers. If your cable manager is one of those three, the kit is the matching hinged door. Anything outside that group is not covered.

Mounting hardware is included in the kit, so the door and its fasteners ship together. You do not get the cable manager itself, the open frame rack, or any lock or latch accessory beyond what the kit includes. Plan on the SB860, SB862 or SB864 manager already being installed.

Steel, with a silver powder coat finish, which is why it lines up visually with Eaton B-Line silver open frame racks and managers rather than a black assembly. Powder coat over steel holds up in a data room or MDF where a door gets opened daily.

Functionally the open channel works; the door is about containment and appearance. Adding the RCM door kit closes off the vertical channel so jumpers stay inside the manager, dressed cable is hidden, and a client-facing or shared telecom room looks finished. If the rack sits in a back room nobody sees and you re-dress cable often, the open channel is easier to live with.

Just the door. It is a hinged RCM door kit that mounts onto an already-installed Eaton B-Line vertical cable manager alongside an open frame rack. It does not include the manager channel and it is not a rack enclosure door, so it will not convert an open rack into a cabinet.

The kit weighs 14.5 lb. That is a one-person lift in terms of weight, but it is a 78 inch long panel, so a second set of hands makes aligning the hinge points on a full-height manager much easier.
