B-Line Eaton series open racks, Steel, Telco gray powder coat finish, 12-24 panel mounting holes, 66 mounting spaces, Top channel style, Seismic Zone

The SB5776140TG ships with 12-24 panel mounting holes on the rails. If your gear was hardware-matched to 10-32 rails, you will need to swap screws and cage-free hardware to 12-24 or specify a different rail. Most network equipment ears clear either, but the screw thread has to match the rail.

66 mounting spaces is the usable panel area on this B-Line open frame rack. That is the count of 12-24 hole groups available for rack units, so a stack of 1U patch panels and switches up to 66 of those positions will land on the rails. Plan your vertical layout against that number rather than overall frame height, since the top channel and base consume height that is not mountable.

Yes. The SB5776140TG is built as a Seismic Zone 4 network bay open duct rack, which is why the frame is heavier steel and uses a top channel style. For the seismic rating to mean anything in the field it has to be anchored per the engineer's detail, floor and overhead bracing included.

UL Listed, per the manufacturer's certification on the SB5776140TG. That is typically what an inspector or an institutional spec is looking for on telecom room framing. The rack is steel with a Telco gray powder coat finish.

An open frame rack like the SB5776140TG has no doors or side panels, so cable access and airflow are unrestricted and patch fields are easy to work. Use it in a secured, dedicated telecom room. If the equipment sits in a shared space or needs physical security, containment, or lockable access, a cabinet is the right call instead. The open duct design here is aimed at network bays with heavy cable volume.

The finish here is Telco gray powder coat, the standard telecom equipment color most open frame bays and ladder rack ship in. If your existing rows are that same telco gray, this drops into line visually. If your room was built out in black, it will not match.
