B-Line Eaton series open racks, Steel, Yellow zinc, 12-24 panel mounting holes, 42 mounting spaces, Top channel style, Seiemic zone 4, network bay op

Yes. The B-Line Eaton series open frame rack, model SB5761096YZ, is a 19 inch width rack with 42 mounting spaces, so standard 19 inch EIA rack-mount switches, patch panels and servers mount directly to the rails.

The rails are tapped 12-24, which is the older imperial rack thread rather than the metric M6 or a square-hole cage nut rail. Any equipment you mount needs 12-24 rack screws, and if your hardware came with M6 or 10-32 screws they will not thread into these rails.

It is built as a seismic zone 4 network bay open duct rack, so it is the version specified where seismic anchorage is required rather than a standard open frame. Seismic performance depends on the rack being anchored to the structural slab as the installation calls for.

An open frame rack with top channel and open duct is for network bays in a controlled, secured room: all four sides stay open for cable access, airflow and patching, and cable management ducts attach to the frame. If you need physical security, dust control or contained airflow, an enclosed cabinet with doors and side panels is the correct product instead. This frame offers none of those.

The frame alone is 120 lb. At 120 lb and 96 inches tall it is a two-person lift to stand upright, and the floor loading in your equipment room needs to account for the frame weight plus everything you load into the 42 spaces.

Yes, the SB5761096YZ open frame rack is UL Listed, which is what a specification for an institutional or government equipment room typically calls out for the bay itself.

The frame is steel with a yellow zinc surface finish, a plated finish typical of telecom and central office bays. It is an indoor equipment-room finish, not a painted or powder-coated cosmetic finish and not intended for exterior exposure.
