B-LINE SB16130TG – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the Eaton B-Line SB16130TG support bar used for?
The SB16130TG is a runway cable support bar, used to support cable above a rack or runway. It is a steel tubing bar with a 13 inch height, finished in telco gray powder coat, and it is UL Classified.
2) How tall is the B-Line SB16130TG cable support bar, and how much clearance does it give above the runway?
It stands 13 inches high, so the bar carries cable that height above its mounting point. If your cable fan needs more or less rise than 13 inches, you want a different height in the SB16 runway support bar range rather than this one.
3) Is the SB16130TG support bar strong enough for a telecom cable runway, and what gauge steel is it?
It is built from 13 gauge steel tubing, which is the heavier end of tubing used for telco runway supports, and the whole bar weighs 1.32 lb. The telco gray powder coat matches standard central office and data room runway hardware.
4) What is the bend radius or curve size on the B-Line runway cable support bar?
The curved portion of the SB16130TG is listed at a 6 inch diameter, so cable coming over the bar turns on that radius. That matters when you are running large-diameter copper or fiber bundles that have a minimum bend radius spec of their own.
5) Is the Eaton B-Line SB16130TG UL listed for use in a data center or central office?
It is UL Classified. That is the rating carried on the part, and it is the one an inspector or facility spec will look for on runway support hardware.
6) Does the SB16130TG cable support bar come with mounting hardware?
The SB16130TG is sold as the support bar itself. Attachment hardware to your runway stringer or rack is ordered separately, so plan on the matching B-Line runway mounting hardware for your stringer size.
7) Will the telco gray finish on this B-Line support bar match my existing cable runway?
Telco gray powder coat is the standard finish across Eaton B-Line runway products, so the SB16130TG matches gray ladder rack, stringers and waterfalls already installed in most central offices and telecom rooms. The powder coat also gives the steel tubing a painted surface for indoor equipment room use.
