B-LINE SB126102FB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the Eaton B-Line SB126102FB retaining post actually do on a cable runway?
It's a vertical cable retaining post that mounts to ladder-style cable runway and keeps cable from spilling over the side of the tray as it's routed. At 10 inches tall, it gives you a high sidewall to stack and contain bundles along a run or at a transition point where cable wants to push out.
2) Is the SB126102FB retaining post UL Listed?
Yes, the Eaton B-Line SB126102FB retaining post is UL Listed. For an inspected telecom or data center install where the runway system itself has to be listed and bonded, that matters, and it's the spec to cite on a submittal.
3) What material and finish is the B-Line runway retaining post, and will it match black runway?
Steel with a flat black powder coat. If your cable runway and ladder rack are already flat black, these posts drop in without a visible finish mismatch, which is the usual reason people specify black over plain or zinc in an exposed equipment room.
4) What's the exact part number to order for the flat black 10 inch B-Line retaining post?
Order Eaton B-Line part number SB126102FB. The FB suffix is the flat black finish. It's sold as an individual post, so count how many you need for your run and order accordingly.
