B-LINE SB2260404YZ – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Do I need anything else besides the SB2260404YZ to hang cable runway?
Yes. The SB2260404YZ is the support bracket only. It's used with the SB-1003-J, and you'll still need your runway sections, the joint or splice hardware, and the anchors or threaded rod for whatever structure you're fastening to. None of that ships as part of this bracket.
2) What is the Eaton B-Line SB2260404YZ runway support used for?
It's a steel runway support in the B-Line series, part number SB2260404YZ, used with the SB-1003-J. Runway supports carry cable runway (ladder rack) in telecom and equipment rooms, and this one is the bracket portion, not the runway section itself.
3) How do I order the exact B-Line runway support I got last time?
Order by manufacturer part number SB2260404YZ. That single number carries the 4 inch size, the steel construction, and the yellow zinc finish, so there's no separate finish or size suffix to add.
4) Is the yellow zinc finish on this B-Line runway support OK for an indoor equipment room?
Yellow zinc over steel is a plated indoor finish. It suits conditioned telecom rooms, data closets, and electrical rooms. For wet or exterior runs, spec a hot-dip galvanized or stainless support instead.
