Splice kits, wall angle brackets, threaded rod or ceiling kits, junction hardware and any grounding kit are separate line items. Count your splices, wall penetrations and support points off the drawing and add them to the order so the run can actually be hung.

1008 steel, 11 gauge, manufactured to ASTM A513 tubing, with a yellow zinc finish. Yellow zinc is a plated finish intended for dry, conditioned interior spaces such as telecom and equipment rooms. For exterior or wet locations you'd want a hot dip galvanized or stainless runway instead.

The SB1818AYZ is UL Classified. That's the rating carried on this stringer; treat the runway as a bonded pathway per your site's grounding detail and specify the appropriate B-Line bonding kit separately, since no grounding hardware is part of this stringer.

Tubular stringer, which is what the SB1818AYZ is, uses closed tube construction and gives a cleaner look with no open channel edge for installers to catch cable on. Channel stringer uses an open C section and is often chosen where clamps and accessories need to grab the channel lip. Both do the same job of carrying cable overhead; pick whichever your site standard and your existing runway hardware already match, since accessories are not interchangeable between the two.

The removable post lets you take the vertical post out of the tubular stringer section, which makes it easier to route cable into the runway or to adapt the run where a post would interfere. It's a feature of the tubular stringer design rather than a separate accessory.
