One Grate-Lock plank runs 288 inches long by 6 inches wide, with a 2.5 inch channel depth. So a single piece covers 24 feet of run at half a foot wide, and you gang planks side by side to build out to the walkway width you need.

Each plank carries a female edge on one side and a male edge on the other, so planks lock into the next one along their 288 inch length instead of sitting loose. That gives you a continuous walking deck across multiple planks with no gap between them, and it means orientation matters when you set the first plank, since every following plank has to run the same way for the edges to mate.
