Double cylinder means a key is needed to unlock the deadbolt from inside as well as outside, so there is no interior thumbturn. That keeps someone from reaching through broken glass and turning the bolt, but it also means anyone inside needs a key to get out, which many local codes restrict on a required egress door. Check your local code before installing. If the door has no sidelight or glass panel to protect, a single cylinder handleset with an interior thumbturn is the usual choice.
