Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket and drill required holes per manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper clearance for case dimensions and armored front assembly.
4. Install mortise case into door pocket and secure with provided screws, allowing armored front to self-align with door bevel during installation.
5. Configure four-position hub toggle to determine locked/unlocked operation for each hub and install trim components with self-aligning mechanism for accurate positioning.
6. Test lock operation including latch and deadbolt function, visual indicator operation, and lever return spring mechanism to verify proper alignment and smooth operation throughout full range of motion.
