Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or thick door configuration up to 5"), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket to accommodate case dimensions of 5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W and route for faceplate installation.
4. Install lockbody into mortise pocket and secure with appropriate fasteners per manufacturer torque specifications.
5. Adjust latch and deadbolt operation for proper alignment with strike, utilizing the field reversible design as needed for door handing.
6. Test lock operation to verify proper function of office function operation, latch engagement, and deadbolt extension. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
