Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or thick door up to 5"), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper mortise pocket preparation.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket to accommodate case dimensions of 5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W, ensuring proper clearance for lock body installation.
4. Install lock body in mortise pocket and secure armored front to door edge, allowing self-alignment feature to adjust to door bevel during installation.
5. Configure four-position hub toggle settings to determine locked/unlocked operation for each hub based on application requirements and desired handing.
