Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset and faceplate positioning.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket to accommodate 5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W case dimensions and route for armored front installation.
4. Install lock body in mortise pocket and secure with four case cover screws at each corner, ensuring armored front self-aligns with door bevel during installation.
5. Configure four position hub toggle settings to determine locked/unlocked operation for each hub and verify field reversible latch orientation matches door handing.
6. Test lock operation including latchbolt and deadbolt function, cylinder operation, and visual indicators to verify proper installation and smooth operation throughout full range of motion.
