Metallics EVBK100 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How many pieces come in the Metallics EVBK100 Isomax bit kit?
The EVBK100 is a 100-piece insert bit kit from the Metallics Isomax line. Order it by the single model number EVBK100 and the full 100-piece assortment comes as one kit, so there is nothing to specify beyond the part number.
2) Are the bits in the Metallics EVBK100 kit insert bits or power bits?
Insert bits. The EVBK100 Isomax kit is built around insert-style bits, the short 1-inch-class bits that seat in a magnetic bit holder or a drill/driver chuck adapter rather than the longer power bits that chuck directly. If your crew runs holders already, the kit drops straight in; if not, plan on a bit holder alongside it.
3) Is the Metallics EVBK100 bit kit meant for electrical work?
Yes. Metallics catalogues the EVBK100 Isomax insert bit kit with its electrical supplies, and a 100-piece assortment is aimed at electricians and MRO crews working devices, panel covers, boxes and fixture hardware where several drive types turn up on the same job.
