The PTL-18-427 wraps are sized for 10 gauge through 4 gauge wire. The label is 1 in H x 0.75 in W, with the white printable zone taking 0.375 in H x 0.75 in W and the remaining translucent tail wrapping back over the print to seal it. If your conductors are smaller than 10 AWG or larger than 4 AWG, the wrap length won't land correctly and you want a different B-427 size.

No separate overlaminate is needed. The overlaminate is part of the label itself: a white printable zone with a translucent tail that wraps around the conductor and covers the printed text.
