Bobrick 1002179 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Bobrick 1002179 the shoe that covers a toilet partition pilaster base?
Yes. It is the 10 inch stainless steel shoe, the trim cover that conceals the anchoring at the bottom of a partition pilaster. It is a replacement trim piece, not a full pilaster or anchoring kit, so any damaged anchor hardware has to be sourced separately.
2) What part number do I order to match existing Bobrick partition shoes?
Bobrick part 1002179. Quote that number against what is on the floor now, since shoe height varies by partition mounting style and a 10 inch shoe will not visually match a shorter one on adjacent pilasters.
3) How many Bobrick 1002179 shoes come in an order?
The Bobrick 1002179 10 inch stainless steel shoe ships as a 2 piece set, so a single order covers two mounting points. If you need an odd count across a run of partitions, plan quantities in pairs.
4) What condition are these Bobrick shoes in?
Unused stock still in the original protective film with the factory label. The film itself is scratched and the parts underneath may carry light scratching, so for a highly visible front-of-house restroom inspect before install; for back-of-house or maintenance replacement it is new, unused hardware.
5) What is the Bobrick 1002179 shoe made of?
Stainless steel, which is why it holds up at the floor line in a washroom where the base of a partition pilaster takes mop water, cleaning chemicals, and foot traffic.
