Bobrick 1002567 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Bobrick 1002567 keeper packet used for on a toilet partition?
It is the stainless steel keeper (strike) hardware packet for a Bobrick outswing toilet compartment door, part number B-1002567. The keeper is the piece mounted on the pilaster or jamb that the latch bolt engages when the door closes, so this is the packet you order when the existing keeper is bent, worn, or missing rather than replacing the whole latch set.
2) Will the Bobrick 1002567 keeper work on an inswing restroom stall door?
No. The 1002567 keeper packet is an outswing repair part, so it is meant for compartment doors that swing out of the stall. Inswing doors use different latch and keeper geometry, so order the inswing keeper for that opening instead.
3) Is the Bobrick keeper packet 1002567 stainless steel or plastic?
Stainless steel. That matters for high traffic public restrooms, where a stainless keeper holds up to repeated door slams and cleaning chemicals better than a plated or plastic strike. Property managers standardizing repairs across a building can stock this one part for outswing Bobrick compartments.
