Bobrick 3706-161 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What comes in the Bobrick 3706-161 coin conversion kit?
Each kit ships with two 25 cent coin return pivot lever assemblies (part 3706-159), four machine screws (3706-73), the 3706-306 coin conversion label master sheet packet, and the 3706-261 instruction sheet. So the lever assemblies, fasteners, new price labels and the instructions are all in the box.
2) Does this Bobrick kit convert a vendor from 50 cents to 25 cents, or the other way around?
One direction only: the 3706-161 kit converts an existing 50 cent operation vendor to 25 cent operation. It will not take a 25 cent machine up to 50 cents.
3) Do I get new price labels with the coin conversion, or do I have to order those separately?
Labels are included. The 3706-306 coin conversion label master sheet packet comes with the kit, so the vendor face can be relabeled for 25 cent operation at the same time the lever assemblies go in. No separate label order needed.
4) I manage several restrooms with Bobrick vendors at 50 cents. How many of these kits do I need?
One kit per vendor. Each 3706-161 kit carries the two coin return pivot lever assemblies and four screws for a single machine, so a building with six 50 cent vendors takes six kits to standardize the whole facility at 25 cents.
5) Is the Bobrick 3706-161 a whole coin mechanism or just the lever parts?
It is a parts kit, not a complete coin mechanism. What changes is the coin return pivot lever assemblies (3706-159), held in with the four supplied machine screws, plus the new price labeling. The vendor cabinet, lock and dispensing mechanism stay as they are.
6) Can I order just the 25 cent pivot lever assembly instead of the full conversion kit?
The lever assembly carries its own Bobrick number, 3706-159, and two of them are what the 3706-161 kit is built around. If you only need a replacement lever on a machine already running at 25 cents, ask for 3706-159 rather than the conversion kit, which also brings screws, labels and instructions you would not need.
