Bobrick B-823-34 Basin Mounting Kit

The B-823-34 kit is the parts set that ties the soap pump assembly to the soap container on a lavatory mounted foam soap dispenser. You get the gasket, funnel, shank and latch, o-ring, rosette washer, and mounting nut. It's the hardware between the deck-mounted pump and the reservoir under the counter, not the pump head or the bottle itself.

Bobrick soap dispenser models B-823 and B-8236. Those are the lavatory mounted foam units the kit is built for. If your dispenser carries a different Bobrick model number, this is not the kit for it.

Usually, yes. On the B-823 and B-8236 the seal between the pump and the container is made by the gasket, o-ring, and rosette washer, with the shank and latch and mounting nut holding it tight through the deck. Those are exactly the parts in the B-823-34 kit, so a weep at the countertop or at the container joint is the failure this kit replaces. It does not address a pump that won't dispense, that's the pump assembly.

For a B-823 or B-8236, the mounting hardware is sold on its own as the B-823-34 kit, so a stripped mounting nut, a torn gasket, or a lost rosette washer doesn't cost you the dispenser. It's a replacement kit, which makes it the standard restock item for a facility running these dispensers across a lot of restrooms.

Deck mounted. It's for Bobrick lavatory mounted foam soap dispensers, where the pump goes through the sink deck or countertop and the container hangs below. Wall mounted surface or recessed Bobrick dispensers use different hardware.
