Bobrick 830-162 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly comes in the Bobrick B-830-162 tubing packet?
It's 25 feet of clear vinyl tubing, supplied as a packet for the Bobrick B-830 SureFlo liquid soap dispensing system. Tubing only, no pumps, dispenser heads or fittings.
2) I need a longer run from the soap reservoir to a remote lavatory. Can I add tubing to a SureFlo install?
That's what the 830-162 packet is for. It supplies an additional 25 feet of tubing so you can extend the run between the SureFlo soap supply and a dispenser head that sits farther away than the original tubing reaches. Buy multiples if the run needs more than 25 feet.
3) Is Bobrick 830-162 a replacement part or an add-on?
Either. It's a spare tubing packet, so facilities crews use it both to replace a kinked, clouded or damaged line in an existing SureFlo installation and to extend a new one. Same 25 foot clear vinyl length in both cases.
4) Is there more than one length or version of the Bobrick 830-162 to choose from?
No. The 830-162 is sold as a single model, one 25 foot packet. If a run needs more, order additional packets rather than a different length.
5) Why is the SureFlo tubing clear rather than opaque?
The vinyl is clear, which lets maintenance staff see soap moving through the line. On a multi-station washroom that makes it quick to spot an air lock or an empty reservoir without pulling the dispenser apart.
