1) Will a 3/8-16 tap bolt thread into my existing 3/8 inch tapped channel nuts and strut fittings?
It will, as long as the mating thread is 3/8-16 UNC. That is the coarse thread used on standard 3/8 inch strut nuts, beam clamps, and most electrical mounting hardware, and the JHTB24 is cut to 16 threads per inch to the IFI-199 (2014) thread standard. If your fitting is 3/8-24 fine thread, this bolt will not go in.
