1) What thread does the Metallics JHTB72 hex tap bolt take, and will it run into a 5/8-11 tapped hole?
The JHTB72 is a 5/8-11 hex tap bolt, so 11 threads per inch, right hand, and it mates with any standard 5/8-11 tapped hole or nut. Thread form follows IFI-199 (2014). Being a tap bolt, it is threaded the full 2-3/4 inch length rather than having a plain shank, which is what you want when the hole is shallow or you need thread engagement right up under the head.
