The Boshart BSC Sump & Sewage Check Valve is a full port check valve built for sump pump and sewage ejector discharge lines, available in 1-1/2" and 2" sizes to match common pump discharge and riser piping. Every size in the BSC line ships complete with 2 boots for a fast, gasketed connection to the pump discharge pipe and the riser pipe on either side of the valve. The full port flapper design opens 100% for unrestricted flow through the valve body, and the flapper seats on a 15° angle rather than sitting flat, which reduces the slam and water hammer that occurs when the pump shuts off and the flapper drops closed. The angled seat also helps keep solids and debris from building up on the seating surface or getting trapped under the flapper, so the valve continues to seat properly cycle after cycle. This is rough-in, behind-the-wall (or below-the-floor/in-the-pit) plumbing hardware intended for installation by a plumber or contractor on sump basin discharge piping and sewage ejector discharge piping in either the 1-1/2" or 2" size, not a decorative fixture.
