The Boshart FIN1413-020 is a 2" insert x MPT 90° elbow built for rough-in water line transitions where a barbed poly insert connection needs to turn and join into male-threaded iron pipe. This fitting is designed for well, irrigation, and water-service piping runs where a 90° direction change is required at a threaded connection point. The insert end accepts 2" polyethylene tubing secured with a clamp, while the opposite end is male pipe thread (MPT) for direct connection into a female-threaded fitting, tank, pump, or valve. As a rough-in component, this elbow is intended to be installed behind the wall, underground, or inside a mechanical room enclosure - it is not a finished, visible fixture, and it should be selected and sized to match the tubing and threaded fitting it will be joining in the field.
