1) Will a Bussmann LKN fuse link fit my existing REN renewable fuse holder?
The LKN link is built as the replacement element for REN-type 250V renewable fuseholders, so it drops into REN holders and the disconnect switches that use them. Match the link's amp rating to the holder's rating, and keep it on 250V circuits only.
2) Can I use a 250V LKN fuse link on a 480V circuit?
No. The LKN link is rated 250V, and it can't be used on a 480V system. Anything above 250 volts needs a fuse link rated for that system voltage in a holder rated to match.
3) Is the LKN a current-limiting fuse?
No. The LKN is non-current-limiting, renewable construction. If your equipment's short circuit current rating or the drawing calls for a current-limiting fuse (Class RK1, RK5, J, etc.), the LKN will not satisfy that requirement and you need a current-limiting cartridge fuse instead.
