1) Will a Bussmann LP-CC fuse fit a standard Class CC fuse holder?
Yes. The LP-CC is a Class CC rejection-style fuse with ferrule ends, 13/32 x 1-1/2 inches (0.41 x 0.41 x 1.5 in), which is the standard Class CC envelope. The rejection feature means it drops into a Class CC holder or block but will not fit non-rejection 13/32 x 1-1/2 midget holders, so you cannot use it to replace a plain midget fuse in a non-rejecting clip.
2) Can I use an LP-CC fuse on a DC control circuit?
Yes, up to 150 Vdc, with a 20 kAIC interrupting rating at that voltage. On AC it is rated 600 V with 200 kAIC interrupting. If your DC bus is above 150 volts, this is the wrong fuse.
3) Will an LP-CC time-delay fuse hold through motor or transformer inrush?
That is what the dual-element time-delay design is for. The LP-CC holds 12 seconds at 200 percent of rating, so it rides through the inrush of control transformers, solenoids, and small motor starters instead of opening on startup, while still clearing a fault as a current-limiting fuse.
