1) Is the Calibre TH1000 the keyed cylinder or just the inside thumbturn?
TH1000 is the thumbturn half. It gives you inside turn-to-lock operation in a mortise cylinder body, no key and no keyway. If you want key operation on the outside, that is the matching Calibre mortise key cylinder, which comes in a Schlage C keyway. On a storefront door you typically order both: key cylinder outside, TH1000 thumbturn inside.
2) What finish does the Calibre TH1000 thumbturn come in, and will it match my other 26D hardware?
The turn itself is US 26D, satin chrome, which is the standard commercial finish and will sit alongside 26D levers, exit device trim and pulls without looking off. The cylinder face (the scalp ring you actually see on the door) is anodized aluminum, so it reads as a clear/aluminum ring rather than chrome. On a dark bronze or black anodized storefront that ring is the detail worth thinking about.
3) Do I need to order a trim ring separately for the Calibre TH1000 mortise thumbturn?
No, a 3/16 inch cylinder trim ring ships standard with it. That covers the usual storefront stile prep. If your door face sits the cylinder deeper or shallower than that, ring thickness is what you adjust, and the thumbturn body is unchanged.
4) Can I get Calibre mortise cylinders keyed alike across a building?
Yes, on the key cylinder side. Calibre mortise cylinder pairs are specified KA-2 or KA, keyed alike in a maximum of 50 pairs each, on the Schlage C keyway. The TH1000 thumbturn has no keyway, so it carries no keying spec of its own, but it is the inside half that pairs with those keyed-alike cylinders. If you are standardizing a property on Schlage C, this line drops into that system.
5) Is the Calibre TH1000 thumbturn rated for commercial door traffic or is it a residential part?
Commercial. The TH1000 is a zinc die cast mortise cylinder body, the same construction Calibre uses across the CA/Hardware line, and it is catalogued for commercial openings, not residential entry sets.
