The Camden CX-ED1579L is a Grade 1, fire-rated, universal electric strike designed to support both mortise and cylindrical locksets. It’s built with a stainless steel body and ships with five stainless steel faceplates for wide compatibility with various lock manufacturers. Featuring field-selectable 12/24V AC/DC operation and switchable fail-safe / fail-secure modes, this strike provides true “universal” performance. It also includes built-in latch monitoring, non-handed design, and easy-fit connectors for power and status wiring. When configured in fail-secure mode, the unit retains a 3-hour UL10C / CAN4-S104 fire rating.
