Klein Tools 55562 Camo Phone Holder, Small

The 55562 is the small size in Klein's camo phone pouch range, sized for iPhone 4 and 5 and phones of similar footprint. The pocket measures 5-3/4 inches high by 2-29/32 inches wide, so a current full-size or Plus-size phone, or any phone in a bulky rugged case, will not go in. If you carry a larger handset, look at the larger 55563 or 55564 camo holders instead.

Yes. It uses a metal belt clip rated for belts up to 2 inches wide, which covers a standard leather tool belt or a wide duty belt. Anything wider than 2 inches will not seat properly on the clip.

Retention comes from a magnetic flap that folds over the top of the pouch. It opens one-handed, which matters when you are on a ladder or holding a meter, but there is no zipper or snap, so for an upside-down or heavy-impact situation you would want a closed-top pouch instead.

Unlikely. At 2-29/32 inches wide and 5-3/4 inches tall the pouch is cut for a bare phone of iPhone 4 or 5 proportions; a wallet back or battery case adds thickness and length that this small size does not allow for. Step up to one of the larger camo holders, 55563 or 55564, if the phone is cased.

The shell is 1680d ballistic weave, the heavier-denier fabric Klein uses on its tool pouches, and the belt clip is metal rather than plastic. Loaded weight is negligible on the belt at 0.22 lb empty.

Order it as Klein Tools 55562. The pattern is REALTREE XTRA camouflage, and it is the small-size pouch in that camo line. There is only one configuration of the 55562, so there is no size or color to specify on the order.
