New work only. The PSB232 mounts with nail-on tabs that fasten directly to a stud, so the framing has to be open. For a finished wall with drywall already up, you need an old work (remodel) box with wing brackets instead.
2) Does the Centaur PSB232 need separate cable clamps, or are they built in?
Clamps are built in. The box comes with eight integral cable clamps plus one 1/2 inch entry, so NM cable lands and secures without buying separate connectors.
3) Is this box sold individually or by the case?
