Metallics MWUS255 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Metallics MWUS255 window fit anything other than an MQUS255?
No. The MWUS255 clear window is matched to the Metallics MQUS255 only. If you are replacing a lens or window on a different enclosure or unit, it needs the window specified for that model, not this one.
2) What is the Metallics MWUS255 and what does it go with?
The MWUS255 is a clear replacement window for the Metallics MQUS255. It is the transparent panel only, not the housing, so order it when the existing window is cracked, clouded or missing and the MQUS255 body itself is still serviceable.
3) Is the MWUS255 a complete unit or just the window?
Just the window. The MWUS255 ships as the clear window component for the MQUS255 and does not include the MQUS255 itself or any other part of it, so if you need the whole assembly you want the MQUS255.
4) What part number do I give purchasing for the clear window on a Metallics MQUS255?
Metallics part number MWUS255. That is the manufacturer part number for the clear window used with the MQUS255, and it is the only model offered for this part, so there are no finish or size options to specify.
