Clip, Flange Side-Mount Snap-In (1/2")

The SSF-CS1/2 flange clip grips beam flanges from 1/8 inch up to 3/4 inch thick, so it works on most bar joist and structural steel edges you'd run branch conduit along. It's an edge clip, so it hooks over the flange edge with no drilling or welding.

This one is the 1/2 inch size, and the spring steel clip takes 1/2 inch EMT or rigid conduit. The same SSF-CS family is made for 1/2 inch through 1 inch EMT and rigid, so for 3/4 or 1 inch runs you need the matching larger clip rather than forcing this one.

That trailing number is the flange size the clip is set up for. Three are offered: SSF-CS1/2-F1/4, SSF-CS1/2-F1/2 and SSF-CS1/2-F3/4. The CS1/2 part stays constant (1/2 inch conduit); you pick the F size to match the steel you're clipping to.

The conduit clip pivots a full 360 degrees, so you can set the run at whatever angle the pull takes instead of being locked square to the beam. Note it is not a hinged or hinge-adjustable design, so the adjustment is rotation only.

Both use the same spring steel conduit clip on a flange edge clip; the difference is where the clip sits. This is the side-mount version, which holds the conduit off the side of the flange, useful when the underside of the beam is occupied or you want the raceway tight to the web. The bottom-mounted version drops the conduit below the flange instead.

Construction is steel, with a spring steel conduit clip, and it fastens as an edge clip over the beam flange. That means no drilling, no welding and no anchors into the structure, which is why it's specified for conduit support off bar joists and trapezoidal ceiling framing.

Inner quantity is 25 clips, which is the normal way electricians buy these for a floor's worth of conduit support.
