Blackburn ODB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Blackburn ODB compression tool used for?
The Blackburn ODB is a mechanical compression tool for crimping wire lugs and connectors. It is a hand tool, not a hydraulic or battery crimper, so the compression force comes from the operator working the 21 inch wooden handles.
2) Does the Blackburn ODB crimper come as a single tool or in a set?
It is sold each, one complete tool per order, under model ODB. There is a single configuration, so there is no size or die option to specify when ordering.
3) Does the Blackburn ODB tool need a battery, hydraulic pump, or air supply?
No power source of any kind. It is a purely mechanical hand crimper, so there is nothing to charge, no pump to maintain, and it works anywhere on a site with no power available.
