It's trim only. The 483F83 is an outside lever and spindle assembly for ML2000 Series mortise locks, the RW wrought lever style. You get the lever and its spindle to drive an existing lock case, not a lock body, latch, cylinder, or strike. If the lock case itself is worn out, you're buying an ML2000 lockbody instead.
2) Will the 483F83 lever work on a 2-inch thick door?
No. The spindle length on the 483F83 is cut for 1-3/4 inch (44mm) doors. ML2000 locks can be ordered for other door thicknesses, but the trim has to match, so on a 2 inch door you need the thickness-specific version of the lever and spindle, not this one.
3) Do I need to order the Corbin Russwin 483F83 lever handed, left or right?
