The Corbin Russwin CL3172-KEYED is a patented Grade 1 cylindrical lever lock engineered for Apartment Exit/Public Toilet applications (ANSI function F88) in demanding commercial environments. Designed for door thicknesses of 1-3/4" to 2" with a 2-3/4" backset, this keyed lockset features a deadlocking latchbolt operable by lever from either side, except when the key inside locks the outside lever—placing the outside lever in a freewheeling position. The key outside retracts the latchbolt, the key inside unlocks the outside lever, and the inside lever remains always free. Built on the CL3100 Series platform, this lock is manufactured from steel with zinc dichromate treatment for corrosion resistance and incorporates Corbin Russwin’s proprietary T-Zone construction, which has been tested to over 15 million cycles—exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards by 15 times.
